Michael Escava joined Meridian in 2025 and is based in the firm’s Midtown New York City office, where he specializes in both landlord and tenant representation across New York City’s retail market. His portfolio spans neighborhoods throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, giving him a broad, ground-level understanding of the borough-by-borough dynamics that drive successful retail placements.
In his first year at Meridian, Michael closed over a dozen lease transactions, working both sides of the table — sourcing tenants for landlords’ vacant spaces and identifying the right locations for tenants entering or expanding in the New York market. He takes a hands-on, high-volume approach to outreach and deal execution, combining market research with persistent relationship-building to move deals forward efficiently.
Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with a Minor in Communications from Baruch College.
