Gershon Friedman
Managing Director
Mr. Friedman joined Meridian in 2004 and currently serves as a Managing Director in the company’s Chicago office, where he is responsible for the sales team, management, underwriting, and training of new hires. Mr. Friedman originates and places loans across a broad array of property types, including multifamily, office, and retail in locations across the entire United States, though he has historically specialized in loans in the Midwest.
Mr. Friedman is also an active investor in real estate. Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Friedman worked as a licensed Illinois real estate broker with Century 21.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Friedman has personally negotiated more than $1.5 billion in financing covering multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, and other property types across the United States.
Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Talmudic studies from Hebrew Theological College.
